A cistern that runs constantly, a cracked pan, the wish for a wall-hung WC: I repair the mechanism when that is enough, and replace the whole when that is the better choice.

The most frequent requests.
Replacing the flush mechanism or the fill valve. A silent leak that wastes a great deal of water.
The old one removed, the new one fitted, connected to the soil pipe and the water supply, with new seals.
Fitting the concealed frame, the connections and the boxing-in. I first make sure the wall and the soil pipe allow it.
A failed pan connector or outlet seal: the connection is remade and the floor checked.
Fitting or replacing a macerator WC where gravity drainage is impossible, with a suitable electrical supply.
Replacing the WC's stop valve, so the water can be shut off without closing down the whole apartment.
From the workshop's other trades
A wall-hung WC with a macerator, or a cloakroom basin, often needs an electrical supply as well as the plumbing. I do both, to the rules of each trade, with no need to coordinate two tradesmen.
Five arrondissements — the Left Bank, and the 16th just across the river — covered neighbourhood by neighbourhood. It is the area I can reach quickly, which matters when water is running.
