The buildings
The local buildings span several eras: sections of lead pipe never replaced, wastes reworked three times with approximate falls, and shared risers no one wants to open.
Knowing this before I arrive changes the diagnosis: I know where to look, and I know when the problem is not in your flat but in the riser — which is a different conversation with the building manager.
Remaining lead — Locating · Replacing sections
Wastes — Fall · Primary ventilation · Siphonage
Shared riser — Source identified · Report for the building manager
