What a renovation includes.
The old fittings removed, and the condition of the existing supplies and wastes checked.
Pipework reworked for the new layout, with correct falls and accessible valves.
A bath replaced by a shower, with a low-profile tray or a level-access floor depending on what the floor structure allows.
Exposed areas treated before the finishes go on. It is what cannot be seen, and what matters most.
Lighting, sockets and towel rail fitted in keeping with the bathroom's safety zones.
Vanity unit and storage made in the workshop, to the room's exact dimensions.
From the workshop's other trades
Bespoke vanity units · Recessed spotlight installation · Radiator and towel rail installation
In a bathroom, the plumber waits for the electrician, who waits for the joiner. By bringing the three trades together, I remove the idle days and the poor workmanship that gathers at the boundaries between trades.
Five arrondissements — the Left Bank, and the 16th just across the river — covered neighbourhood by neighbourhood. It is the area I can reach quickly, which matters when water is running.
