The services I am asked for most often. If yours isn't listed, it most likely falls under one of them — call, and I'll tell you in two minutes.
Locating before opening up: checking supply pipes, waste pipes and seals. Repair, or replacement of the section at fault.
Sink, shower, bath, WC. Mechanical unblocking, and a check of the fall and the stack venting when it keeps happening.
Replacing mixers, flexible hoses, flush mechanisms and traps. Fitting WCs, basins, shower trays and vanity units.
Strip-out, new supply and waste runs, waterproofing, fitting of every element. Coordinated with the electrics and the joinery.
Electric water heaters: replacement, descaling, safety valve assembly. Diagnosis when hot water runs short or turns lukewarm.
Rising main work, replacement of lead or steel sections, fitting of stopcocks and manifolds.
Emergencies
Faced with a stain on the ceiling, the reflex is to open up. It is often the costliest choice: water travels, and where it shows is almost never where it starts. I begin by isolating, then test the supply pipes under pressure, then the waste pipes under flow.
After water damage, that diagnosis is also what serves you with your insurer: it says where the water came from, and for how long.
